Guest Instructor Bio:

Crystal MacDonald ERYT 500

I am an ERYT 500, Yoga Alliance Certified Education Provider & trainer for Sweat & Soul School of Yoga. I hold numerous advanced yoga training certificates, including but not limited to yin, meditation, yoga anatomy, assists, and acro yoga. I’ve trained under and studied with numerous teachers in the Southern NH yoga community, as well as with Patrick Beach with Awakening Yoga Academy, Shelly Flex Athletics, Irene Pappas, Matt Giordano with Chromatic Yoga, Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach, Devin Barry & Konda Mason in several meditation & mindfulness trainings.

I specialize in teaching inversions, arm balancing, calisthenics, and acro through the lens of yoga. These physically demanding, highly confrontational and wildly empowering practices have taught me about my pure potential and capability, and it has become a passion of mine to help others break through limiting beliefs & realize what they are fully capable of. If I am not teaching classes, workshops, or private lessons in the studio, you can almost always find me upside down somewhere!

With a background in music and the arts, I have always had a passion for play, creativity, and connection through music, breath, and movement. I believe they are medicine and universal principles for connection. My mobility-focused teaching style honors traditional roots of yoga while encouraging curiosity, exploration, learning, and development of awareness (mind, body & breath) through playful and boundless movement. My intention is always to provide a safe and empowering space for others to feel connected to themselves and move more freely in their own body. I will always challenge you to meet your edges, lean in, and then soften there.
